Round II...Waking up at 6 am to start yet another amazing hunting day! This morning I Joined Ben and Alex. Alex was after a Water Buffalo. And like the day before, we got on top of our horses to start the adventure around 8 am, when we left the lodge.

John knew it would be a big challenge to kill this new trophy. San Luis has very big open areas and Blackbuck’s have incredible noses and rarely hang out in close areas, giving these prey animals the ability to see predators from great distances.

March 15th was my last morning spent in the office before taking the truck to pick up John and Neil. After enjoying a big “Cesar” salad, I started my drive from Cordoba to San Luis. This trip takes about six hours of driving and when you arrive, there is a large gas station in the middle of town.

I just got back this weekend from an incredible 9 day adventure in Argentina that started with 3 days of dove hunting in Córdoba with Pointer Outfitters and then heading to La Pampa to hunt with Catena Safaris.

We had met Don Chapman at the SCI show in Las Vegas, and it was great; in a couple of minutes he said he would like to do a combination of mixed bag hunting and Red Stag. He was alone in Vegas but he promise to come with his wife Judy, and both of them join us 90 days later!
